This aint my first Rodeo

This tutorial was written by Kelli on 9/02/08.

This tutorial was written using psp 9, but should work using any version.

It is written assuming you have a basic knowledge of PSP and its tools.

you will need:

~ a Tube of choice,I am using the artwork of Keith Garvey

You can purchase his tubes at MPT

~a Font of choice

~ A scrap kit f choice. The Scrap kit I used is by lisa (Sassy Scraps) you can check out her blog here:

you will also need a a bling, a mask and some word art.

Ok......Ready?

1. Open supplies in psp Minimize them for now.Open a new canvas 500x500~ White.

2.Open the two denim papers,from the kit.Resize them to suit you.I resized them to 350 pixels.Paste them as new layers.Then duplicate the blue one and colorize it I wanted yellow cause it matches the star.

3.Go to image and rotate the bottom paper to the left x 20 degrees. The middle paper stays as it is the top one is rotated to the right x 20 degrees.

Add a drop shadow to each paper.

4.Resize the star to you likingI resized it by 35%.Paste it as a new layer and duplicate it.Position them below the paper layers.Sharpen them.Add the same drop shadow to them.

5.Resize your tube by 85% andpaste it as a new layer.Add a drop shadow.

6.Add appropriate © and your watermark.

7.Resize the elements of choice,paste as a new layer,position as desired.Add a drop shadow of choice.

8.Make the background layer the active layer,paste a paper of choice,to to layers and load the mask.Merge group,resize the group layer by 85%Lower the opacity to 50.

9. Add your name,Make the foreground white,and the background a color of choice.Use your raster deform tool to rotate it as desired,Sharpen it once.Use a drop shadow of choice,or your desired text effects.

10. If you arent animating it then you are done. Hide the bottom white layer and save as a PNG.

11. If you are animating, Copy merged,and paste it in animation shop.go to edit and duplicate selected.Go to edit again and select all,duplicate selected again.You should now have 4 frames.

Depending on your bling you are using,

you may need more frames,

you need as many frames in your tag as your bling has.

12.Open the bling supplied,Select all,copy and then propogate paste.

Back on the tag make sure you have selected all,go paste into selected frames.

View animation and save.
